@richard the dev's are aware of this issue and it's not an actual current problem but as you said it is a scalability problem and should be taken care as soon as possible...
From the top of my head, the better theoretical solution that was presented was a variable block size, although i am not sure in what feet do we stand regarding the fixing this issue since i am not a Wallet Dev, but i know there are more dev's working on the wallet now than ever was so i am sure someone will come up with a solution in a near future... ;D
i have a western digital PATA drive from 1993 which has 256mb of space. Just used it yesterday as a browser cache for fun lol. The bigger the capacity the more risks really. I never thought i'd still have my windows 95 hard disk. The cache duty only took 30 minutes to fill. It started lagging. I reformatted to the extensible file system because it has a backup file table. No problems :)
@BigBear when your screen freezes or lags or the display driver crashes you have to lower the value for the last number in
your devices.txt. Change it to half of what you use atm, then try again. If this does not help, half it again and so on, until you find a setting that let you use your computer normaly.
i don't really know what happen i do know alot thw bs that fourm and the so called admin have been doing... but the replys isee from admin there is just a joke... there is in no way any dev or admin should talk like that...
